Effectdev Technology LLC was founded in 2009 as a two-person Shopify shop. Seventeen years later it's still a small team — fourteen senior devs, one PM, one designer, zero juniors — building production software for marketing agencies (white-labeled) and growing businesses (direct).
We have shipped a little of everything in those seventeen years: bare-metal Magento builds before Magento 2 existed; Shopify when it had three apps; Laravel before Vue was Vue; AI integrations that were OpenAI Beta access; three SaaS products of our own built and exited on the side. The pattern of how software actually gets done is the thing we are good at.

Every Friday is a working demo of what was shipped that week. Nothing replaces "here is the thing, running, in your browser, right now."

If you want our logo nowhere, our logo is nowhere. If you want a "built with Effectdev" link, we will give you one. Your call, every time.
Boring tech wherever possible.
Laravel, Postgres, React, Shopify. Boring is a feature. The thing your client wants in year three is the thing nobody has to learn from scratch in year three.
AI when it earns its keep.
We will tell you the second AI is the wrong answer to your problem. We will also tell you when it is the right answer and the in-house team is afraid of it.
Stay invisible. Be useful.
A second engagement is the rule, not the goal. Most of our partners came back without a sales pitch.

Scope
AI-assisted prototyping lets us put real numbers in front of you while the conversation is still warm. Fixed-price for well-defined scopes; T&M for open-ended; you choose.
Build
Sprint planning you can attend. Staging links you can share. CI/CD running from day one. We adapt to your workflow — your Linear, your Slack, your standup time.
Ship
Launch checklist. Runbook. Loom walkthroughs of every flow. Optional 30/60/90-day post-launch retainer with a defined SLA and an on-call rotation.
Compound
We default to a 6-month retainer post-launch because that's where the highest-leverage iterations happen. We will also tell you when to fire us. Most partners don't.
